1) If I Am Staying off Site, Can I Leave and Come Back?

If you are staying off site, you will be able to come and go throughout the weekend.

2) Will You Be Posting Set Times in Advance? Where Can I Find Exact Set Times?

Set times will be posted on this website as the festival date approaches. The event schedule will also be posted throughout the festival grounds. Please take the time to explore Electric Forest, as there are some things happening that will not be posted, and will be exciting to find on your own.

3) How Hot Will It Get in the Day and How Cold Will It Get at Night?

Historically, the town of Rothbury receives very little rain during the months of June and July, and temperatures hover around 65-80 degrees F during the day and 55-65 degrees F at the night. But please come prepared for all kinds of weather.

4) I'm a Photographer, Whom Do I Arrange A Photo Pass Through?

5) I Am Not A Photographer but Would Like to Bring My Camera. What Are the Specs on the Cameras Allowed?

Small hand held/point and shoot camera without additional lenses area acceptable within the concert venue.

6) Are You Hiring People to Work or Volunteer at the Event?

7) Can I Pass out Flyers Inside the Venue or Outside the Venue on Festival Grounds?

No, there is no unauthorized solicitation on the grounds or in any of the parking lots/camping areas.

8) Will There Be an Information Booth/Area?

Yes, please check the map upon arrival for exact location of the Information Booth near the main entrance, and satellite Information Booths inside the venue.

9) Will There Be First Aid on Site?

Yes, please check the map upon arrival for exact locations of First Aid/Medical Stations.

10) Will There Be Drinking Fountains? And/Or How Much is Water?

There will be water refill stations throughout the campgrounds and within the festival venue. Water will also be available at very reasonable prices.

11) Will There Be Sunglasses/Visors or Hats/Sunscreen Sold?

These items will be available at the General Store located near the Festival's main entrance. Please check the map upon arrival for exact location of the General Store. Event merchandise will also be available at the Electric Forest Merch Booth.

12) Will There Be Flushable Toilets and Sinks Available?

There will be hand-washing stations in select areas in the campground and venue, and flushable toilets in the GOOD LIFE areas only.

13) Will There Be Accessible Parking/Bathrooms for Guests with Disabilities? Where?

15) Will There Be a Festival Map Available Ahead of Time So We Can See Which Bands Will Be at Which Stages/Tent Areas? And See Locations of Food Courts, Bathroom Areas?

16) What Is Your Re-entry Policy?

We ask that you come prepared to keep your car parked at your campsite throughout the festival. However, for those who need to exit the festival grounds, please know that your car will be subject to search upon re-entering the camping area.

17) Can I Leave on Foot and Return?

The nearest shopping is miles away and walking is discouraged.

18) What Types of Vendors Will Be on Hand?

There will be a variety of food/beverage and crafts vendors throughout the festival site. Food vendors, which will include organic and vegetarian options, will use only compostable serving materials.

19) I am interested in becoming an Art/ Crafts or Food Vendor at Electric Forest.

The application deadline is March 29, 2014. Vendors will be notified of their acceptance April 7, 2014. Vendors who are not accepted will have payments returned by April 14, 2014. Please email craftvending@electricforestfestival.com with any additional questions.

20) I Locked My Keys in My Car, My Car Won't Start. Will There Be a Tow Truck or AAA on Site?

Yes there will be a locksmith and tow truck company servicing the festival. You can find help for your car at the Electric Forest Information Booth located near the General Store. Check your festival map for exact locations.

21) Is There Anything Else I Should Know?

We ask of you: follow the instructions that are given out, follow the signs to the parking areas, be kind to your neighbors and come prepared for a weekend of fun.

Electric Forest RV Pass

1) What Constitutes an "RV"?

An RV is defined as any vehicle larger either in length, width or height than a normal sixteen (16)-passenger van. All oversized vehicles, trailers, campers that are towed and busses are considered RVs.

2) Can My Friends Park Their Cars Next to My RV?

Yes, provided that your friends COME WITH the RV. Companion vehicles will not be allowed into the RV Park unless they are in fact accompanying an RV upon entering.

3) Can We Park RVs in the Same Group Next to One Another?

Yes, provided that all RVs in your party arrive together.

4) Will There Be Hookups or Dumping Areas in the Main Electric Forest RV Camping Areas?

There will be hookups or dumping stations available to GOOD LIFE only, based on the package purchased.

5) Can I Park an RV in the Accessible Campground Area for Guests with Disabilities?

6) Will We Be Allowed to Move Our RV Once It Is Parked?

You will be directed where to park upon entering the RV Park. If you want to park with friends, please arrive at the same time. Once parked, you cannot move your RV.

7) Will There Be Any Gas for Sale Onsite in Case We Run Out?

No, there WILL NOT be gas available on site. Please fill up before you arrive on site. Not only will this save you the worry, but it will also support the local economy.

8) Are Fires Allowed?

There will be no open, ground-based fires allowed on the premises


1) Can I Bring Kids? Do They Have to Pay?

Children ages 3-12 can purchase an Electric Forest Weekend Ticket for $124.75 plus fees. As long as they are with a parent, the Children's Wristband will get them anywhere their parent goes. If the parent is staying in one of the GOOD LIFE Areas, they can purchase a Children's GOOD LIFE ticket for $297.50. This GOOD LIFE Children's Ticket will work for access into any of the GOOD LIFE AREAS (THE VILLAGE, THE BACK 40, THE FRONTIER) that the parent(s) have access to. For more information and to purchase Children's Tickets call 888-512-SHOW(7469). Children 2 years and under are admitted free.

2) When Will the Tickets Be Mailed Out?

Tickets will be mailed beginning Mid-May, 2014. When purchasing tickets, please be sure to use a mailing address where you or an authorized representative will be in late May and early June.

3) Will Tickets Be Available for Purchase at the Festival Gates?

We recommend purchasing tickets in advance to guarantee access into the event, as tickets will not be available at the gate should the event sell out.

4) Can I Get a Day Pass?

Day Passes to Electric Forest are not available at this time.


1) When Can I Arrive to the Site? When Do I Have to Leave?

We ask that you do not arrive before Thursday, June 26th at 10:00am, You'll need to vacate your campsite by Monday, June 30th at noon.

2) Can We Leave and Re-enter the Campground?

Yes, but during the process of everybody moving in on Thursday, June 26th, we ask you to stay at your campsite. Each time you re-enter your vehicle will be subject to search. There will be a General Store on site for any last minute items you may need.

3) What Will You Be Providing at the Campgrounds?

There will be 24-hour security, medical services, port-a-lets, showers (for a small fee), and a General Store. There will be water and ice for sale, as well as ATMs and a variety of vendors within the campgrounds. There will also be free water throughout the campground provided by either water trucks or wells.

4) What Emergency Services Will Be Available on Site? What Should I do if I Need Emergency Assistance (Medical, Police, Towing, Locksmith, etc.)?

There will be 24hr medical available throughout the campgrounds and festival site. Please locate medical stations on the map when you arrive. You can stop any mounted officer you see, or any staff member you see, for assistance.

5) Where Should I Go if I Lose My Keys, My Wallet or My Friends?

To the information Booth near the Main Festival Entrance. Please check the map when you arrive for exact location of the Information Booth.

6) What Will I Be Allowed to Bring into the Campgrounds?

You can bring food/drink, coolers, small propane cooking stoves. (NO KEROSENE or extra gas in containers) and ALL the drinking water your heart desires. No items in glass will be allowed into the festival grounds.

The following items are prohibited from Electric Forest campgrounds:

  • No Charcoal Grills – small propane cooking stoves only allowed
  • No Pets
  • No weapons or firearms of any kind
  • No fireworks
  • No illegal substances
  • No vending of any kind will be allowed. This will be strictly enforced by the mounted patrol. The sale of alcohol is strictly prohibited in the campgrounds
  • No box trucks
  • No amplified instruments
  • No bicycles or scooters or personalized motorized vehicles will be permitted (This includes, but is not limited to: golf carts, ATV's, motor scooters, and powered skateboards)
  • NO GLASS CONTAINERS OF ANY KIND! (This includes but is not limited to: glass bottles, glass food jars, and anything made of glass). All glass containers will be confiscated upon entry to the festival and no exceptions will be made. Large amounts of alcohol will be confiscated.
  • No Professional Photography Equipment (small hand held cameras without additional lenses are fine)
  • NO PETS! Pets will be picked up and placed with the local humane society. Please use the local kennels if you are traveling with your pet. If a pet is found in the car you will be turned away – regardless how long you have waited in line or if you have a ticket or not. Service animals, trained to assist an individual with a disability, are allowed.
7) Am I Allowed to Sell Food/Drink in the Camping Area?

You are NOT allowed to sell food or drink on the property. Electric Forest is on private property, and there is an-anti vending law in effect.

8) Will Bands Be Allowed to Play in the Camping Area if Not Affiliated with the Festival? Do We Need A Permit if So?

Be kind to your neighbors. If you have to plug it in (i.e. an amp), leave it at home.

9) Will Small Campfires Be Allowed in the Camping Areas? Will You Allow Fire Bins?

No, There will be no open ground based fires allowed on the premises.

10) Are We Allowed to Bring Gas Powered Generators?

No generators allowed, unless it's solar powered.

11) Will There Be Any Electricity in the Camping Area?

No. Want power? Consider the various lodging options in THE GOOD LIFE BACK 40 or GOOD LIFE FRONTIER

12) Are Service Animals Allowed in the Campsite?

13) Is There Cell Phone Service Available Throughout the Festival Site?

Yes, however it varies by service provider.

14) Can I Set Up a Large Pavilion Tent?

Because space is limited, there will be no pavilion tents allowed, If you require extra space, then consider one of the spacious camping spaces in Electric Forest's GOOD LIFE VILLAGE or GOOD LIFE BACK 40 areas.

15) Will Pets Be Allowed in the Venue/Camp Grounds?

No pets are allowed. Please leave your pets at home. Pets will be picked up and placed with the local humane society. Please use the local kennels if you are traveling with your pet. If a pet is found inside the car you will be turned away.

16) What Facilities Are You Providing for Guests with Disabilities?

17) Where Will We Be Camping/Parking? Are We Going to Be Able to Camp Next to Our Cars?

Upon arrival, you will be directed into the campsite to park. You will set up camp next to your car. Once parked, we ask that you leave your car at your campsite. If your friends arrive after you, it may be difficult to reach your particular site. Please plan on parking where indicated, then meeting your friends at the Information Booth or other central point on the map.

18) Will There Be a Clean and Sober Camping Area?

Yes. There will be a designated clean and sober camping area at Electric Forest. Check back for updates as the festival approaches.
